Wantable’s New Feature Delivers Style and 10% Higher Orders

Wantable’s Latest Update Delivers 10% Shopping Boost

Wantable just made shopping easier, and shoppers are noticing. Wantable, the Milwaukee-based personal styling company, has launched Most Wanted Requests, a tool letting customers save top clothing picks for faster delivery. Early data shows users see a 10% increase in average order value, showing a big step forward in personalized shopping.

From Halloween Costumes to Fashion Tech: The Jalem Getz Story

Founded in 2012 by business builder Jalem Getz, Wantable continues Getz’s creative spark for changing online shopping. His first company, BuySeasons (sold to Liberty Media for $55M in 2006), changed Halloween costume sales.

Founded in 2012 by serial entrepreneur Jalem Getz, Wantable builds on Getz’s legacy of disruptive e-commerce ventures. His first company, BuySeasons (sold to Liberty Media for $55M in 2006), revolutionized Halloween costume retail.

Under Getz’s leadership, Wantable has grown to 262 employees and $42.2M in revenue, staying profitable since 2016. The company’s latest $1.4M funding round, led by Cream City Venture Capital, powers new ideas like Most Wanted Requests.

How Most Wanted Requests Work

Wantable’s Stream—a personal fashion feed—now lets users “superlike” up to four items with Most Wanted Requests. These picks are saved for their next Edit, mixing smart algorithms with stylist know-how.

Main Components:

  • Request Bar: Customers tag favorites right in their Stream.
  • Stylist Teamwork: Wantable’s system marks saved items, while stylists pick matching pieces.
  • Live Updates: The Stream changes suggestions based on what users like.
  • This setup solves a big problem: Most shoppers feel stressed by too many choices online. By letting users shape their picks, Wantable cuts down on decision stress while keeping shopping fun.

Partnership Spotlight: Olay Body’s Power Edit

In March 2025, Wantable partnered with Olay Body to launch the Power Edit, merging skincare and bold fashion. The Edit included Olay’s Super Serum Body Wash and statement apparel targeting women who avoid style choices due to skin insecurities.

“Our research shows that 7 in 10 women avoid fashion choices that might expose their body skin concerns like dryness or rough and bumpy texture, often letting these insecurities impact their style,” said Kate DiCarlo, P&G’s Senior Communications Director. “By combining Olay’s skin care expertise with Wantable’s expert styling, this partnership is designed to deliver an unmatched confidence boost, helping women feel empowered to wear what they want.”

Community Impact: Style Meets Social Responsibility

Beyond fashion, Wantable actively works with their communities through initiatives like:

The Science Behind the Style

Every Wantable journey begins with a 5-minute Style Quiz, capturing:

  • Body type (calculated from custom measurements)
  • Color preferences (seasonal analysis)
  • Lifestyle needs (workwear vs. weekend)
  • Budget ($50–$100/item average)

Stylists take all this information, along with the Stream picks, to put together an Edit. Customers get to try on everything at home, keep what they love, and send back what doesn’t work for them. Shipping is always free both ways. If customers decide to keep 5 or more items from the Edit, they automatically get a 20% discount on their order. This makes it even more rewarding to find pieces customers love and encourages them to try out a bigger selection each time.

What’s Next?

  1. Category Expansion: Most Wanted Requests launches for Men’s Active and Sleep & Body by late 2025.
  2. AI Predictions: Algorithms will predict trends based on purchase history.
  3. Community Hub: The Wantable Cafe, now run by Experience Milwaukee podcasters, becomes a coworking space for local start-ups.

In times where most of the shoppers demand personalization, Wantable’s hybrid model sets a new standard.
